  August 4, 2018 - The wine had a beautiful clear ruby color; very clear. Long legs that showed up pretty quickly, then hung there a long time.
  
  I didn't finish the bottle, so can't say for sure about sediment, but the wine was very clear, so I don't think there is any sediment.
  
  It smells like black currant (cassis) and coffee. Leather. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
  
  A lovely drinking cab.

  October 31, 2016 - Was better but fading fast. Fruity still with lots of cherries and blackberries. Hints of vanilla. Weak back end tannins display the back end of life cycle.

  March 19, 2016 - Decant 1.5 hr. Blackberry, smoke and pepper on nose. Thick mouth with blackberries, blueberries and a wisp of anise. Soft Cab. Highly drinkable but not very complex. Med-low tannins do not clean up completely.

  March 24, 2012 - deep garnet in color, maybe some smoke on the nose along with dark cherries and chocolate. medium to long finish with some smooth finishing tannins.
