  May 30, 2008 - This was delicious and went very well with a seafood paella. Medium bodied, juicy with lots of crisp currant acidity, nice cherry fruit on the long finish. This is an excellent food wine just the right balance.

  (Day 2) Having tasted the wine after tasting a Sancerre (A. Mellot "La Moussiere"; 2006; 13%), the Folie did seem a bit "brutish" in comparison; however, when tasted along side a Visan (Les Vins de Vienne; 2004; 14.5%), the Folie showed more finesse and a distinct individuality. This was my last bottle and I think that I would prefer drinking this wine slightly chilled and during a warmer season of the year.
