  August 11, 2016 - Surprising wine for me, on the upside. More power and structure than I expected. The fruit is a bit sweet for me, which tends to give this a jammy feel. It kept the visitors happy so a win all around.

  April 30, 2012 - Kalleske Old Vines Granache - a vertical tasting (Mersch offices, Giva't Coach): Powerful and expressive. Fresh filling of ripe fruits on the nose. Concentrated and full. Fruity and sweet on the palate. Very good!

  November 5, 2011 - A clearly purple appearance with medium-high intensity with quite slow legs.
  The noes goes towards strawberries, blueberries, some cranberries and black currants. Some layers of strawberry jam, espresso and light toast with sandalwood and vanilla.
  It tastes similar to the smell with strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and plums. Some characters from oak like coffee, vanilla stands out together with eucalyptus and chocolate. Alcohol of 15,5 % goes through.
  The body is medium towards full bodied.with a round, smooth texture.
  The finish is medium.
