February 10, 2018 - Bright golden and bone dry, but the acitity is low for a Soave now. The fruityness is almost gone, replaced by rosted almonds, bees wax, wet gravel, (corn?)flower and some very light bitterness. Very delicate struture, so food wise, it needs light pairing. White fish, shellfish, young cheese, lamb's lattuce, green olives, fennel with parmesan.

This wine has not lost over the years, but transformed into something very different.

October 24, 2017 - Citrus fruit (lemon, lime), floral, slight salinity. Good acidity. Lingering finish.

March 18, 2016 - Almond, apricot, ripe pineapple. This one has aged pretty well. A bit over its top, but still very enjoyable

September 2, 2011 - pale golden with green reflexes. nose: some tartness... sauerkraut, dishcloth - hmm one of those that developing in the glass into the better. taste: a lot of apples, some sodium. First time saw such face of garganega and I like it.

July 2, 2011 - A very clear and almost surprisingly strong yellowgreenish colour, very mild on the nose. On the palate a bit of pinapple with some spicyness. I like the acidity of this wine and there is a nice finish but in order to be among my favourite soaves this wine would need some more flavour and freshness, which both are a lacking.

(Suavia Monte Carbonare) Deep yellow, with generous aromas of Mandarin orange, dried pineapple, and jasmine. Suavia’s flagship bottling displays a lovely texture, a lengthy finish, lively acidity, and distinct minerality—amazing complexity considering it is fermented and aged in stainless steel. Has the stuffing to age for three to five years, perhaps longer. Terroir: Soave
