February 9, 2013 - Nice fruit forward big cherry flavors, herbs, baking spices and earthy mulch. finely balanced and finishing nicely.. Would hold it's own against the best of cru Beaujolais. Very impressive and distinctive wine. Highly recommend. Still holding up nice.. Outstanding

April 24, 2012 - Loved this wine when purchased at the winery T'giving weekend 2010. Just had a corked '04 so opened this for comparison. Nose completely different, The 04 was bretty mold, this is subtle with a rich sugary smell. Medium red color. Fair amount of sediment. Initially sweet and toasty. Cherry and strawberry, none of the cola element found in their pinot. Some mid palate dust, short finish with moderate acidity. Smooth but simple and sweetness a little too much.

November 25, 2011 - Bright cherries, earthy loam, and baking spices galore. Went well with Thanksgiving fare.

November 24, 2011 - What a gorgeous Thanksgiving Day wine! The big red fruits with some cranberry, cherry, strawberry flavors along with that "fun", playful fruit forward energy that comes from this elegant & good Beaujolais that perfectly accompanied our start to the Thanksgiving turkey feast.
