February 27, 2012 - Very earthy on the nose with dark fruits. Had it with a good steak and went down a treat. Smooth, enjoyable, good finish.

January 8, 2012 - Dark ruby. Nose is somewhat subdued since last look. Still dark fruits but less obvious or overt. Freshly turned earth and mushrooms are in evidence. Silky smooth black fruited palate - plum over cherry with herbal nuances. Super fine dusty tannins nicely balanced against still crisp acidity. Penetrating length finishing with a touch of smoky spice. Very interesting and a personal fave.

February 12, 2011 - Ruby red with excellent depth of colour. Dark berry fruits - blackberry dominating - forest floor, and earthy mushroomy notes. Rich dark fruits splash the palate with gentle spice and chocolatey vanilla spice wrapped by super fine tannins. Crunchy vibrant acidity keeps everything well balanced and speaks to a bright future ahead Super finish with great length. A classy pinot that hits the mark for me.
