November 28, 2021 - Wonderful showing tonight. Fully mature, it's a real neuf with plenty of garrigue, Grenache, STGT style - very well balanced, while more full bodied than I would have expected. Another triumph for the overlooked 1999-vintage.

November 27, 2021 - Terrific showing. Vraiment Neuf in the cool, upright style with dusty fruit, tertiary notes, garrigue. Well structured, well balanced, a joy to drink. And it’s not like I’m usually a fan of Sabon’s wines.

May 21, 2018 - Great Châteauneuf in the glass. Mature with notes of garrigue, but the fruit is running through with freshness and purity. This is a pleasure to drink with roasted lamb from the BBQ.

August 20, 2016 - Opened 2 hours before dinner. We had this with beef. Surprisingly youthful colour. Not a flamboyant nose but lovely integration on the palate and decent length. It has the more feminine characteristics typical of the 99s.

March 31, 2013 - Opened for Easter brunch. Dead meat. Nothing but acid. Dumped down the drain. Way way too late!
