February 11, 2024 - Decanted for 1.5 hours. You can smell the ripeness right off of the nose. Dark cherries, mocha, cassis integrated in a harmonious manner. The tannins are integrated and have this sweetness that I find common with the best vintages of Solaia. There is touch of minerality and balanced acidity but its the profound finish that stands out There is finnese and elegance that is hard to ignore. Incredible effort and well worth the wait.

July 1, 2023 - Deep ruby red, opened 3 hours before serving and could’ve benefited from 2 more hours of air. It started to really sing towards the end. Captivating black fruits, chocolate, dustiness, leather, earth, spice, and tobacco. Polished, silky smooth, and velvety mouth feel. Excellent freshness, vitality, finish, and structure. Will benefit from more bottle age. Simply indulgent. Powerful wine!

March 1, 2023 - Really nice Italian wine that just drinks as such even though it mimics French Bordeaux. Quite earthy and minerally with a firm backbone suggesting a longer life still. Balanced and quite energetic. Fruit is there but a little hidden. Black fruit and berries are most common. This probably gets better with even more time in the cellar.

March 1, 2023 - Double decanted before bringing it to Melograno’s. Smoky, leather, cedar nose. Tobacco too. Lush red cherries, tar, oak, tannins. Wow.
