May 7, 2024 - This is sexy... a very deep wine with massive backbone of dark fruits, mocha and cedar. It is still tight with a chewy tannin. I love 2000 Bordeaux and this was on point. Young for sure, can age for a long time, but an absolute beauty. The '92 Dominus showed better but this wine in the long run will be off the charts!!!

May 4, 2024 - 1st of 18, decanted two hours, perfect cork and level - dark, quite dense, glossy ruby, youthful rim; plum and black cherry, some mineral and vanilla, attractive but little layering; fullish, long, more persistence, very concentrated, notably sweet mid palate, monolithic and dense, grip though, very much at on the fruit stage, my guess particularly looking at others' notes is that my bottles simply are not yet sufficiently mature, much upside, 25+ years. A perhaps cautious F+ (18).

March 8, 2024 - A beautiful vintage here but the wine is still youthful and slow to open. Eventually, it showed a classic VCC layered texture with great balance and an effortless, smooth finish. Dark-fruited and somewhat subdued with complex notes of earthy spices and minerals but more to come here in time. 94+
