March 26, 2024 - The 2008s are now ready to drink. Great nose on opening. Opened in 30 minutes after decanting. The 2008 jammyness is gone. Excellent balanced wine.

November 2, 2023 - Lots of earth and mushroom notes, fruit emerged after about an hour of air. Still alive and rich with some tannins. Very enjoyable but still feels l like it will last a few more years just fine

May 7, 2023 - Cooked. Over the hill. Provenance was proper, but time took its toll.

August 5, 2022 - Dark cherry and brambly dark berries, earthy with cinnamon bark and spice. Nice acidity, great weight and depth. The wine is still bright and fresh, it’s not just holding up it’s drinking exceptionally well.

April 6, 2022 - Deep color, intense but balanced fruit, among the most delicious 2008 I have had the pleasure to drink. It was instantly open and delicious and got much better over the next two hours. Like many other 2006s and 2008s it needed time to mature in the bottle. I am running out of bottles. Too Bad.
