April 1, 2015 - Just not a very good wine, I don't think the wine was past it's prime, but it was unbalanced (towards the tannic side) and smelled of old greens. I dumped the bottle.

February 21, 2015 - Cheap oak-chipped swill. I couldn't even choke down a glass - it felt like I was getting a mouth full of sawdust. Hate this horrible style of crap wine. It makes me angrier that others seem to like it - it encourages winemakers to continue making this style. Whatever.

June 4, 2013 - Dark in glass, aromatic notes of spice and black cherry which carry to palate with an intensity of black cherry flavors, notes of mushroom and Asian spice. Tannic for a Pinot Noir, with smoke on the finish. Much bettter than the 2006 version, and incredibly good QPR at a 410 closeout price. Surprised that we liked it this much, and paired perfectly with a teriaki BBQ turkey breast dish.

February 18, 2013 - At 72-74 degrees room temp would agree with previous reviews and score at 86 ...HOWEVER....Like many good pinots this wine really likes to be served at near cellar temp.
Very nice nose. Long finish with balanced acidity, ripe and nicely resolved structure if served at 60-64 degrees. IN those conditions, a very nice wine. At its peak, so slightly chill it and drink now. -

February 3, 2013 - Pretty good, specially at this price range. Nice nose of light berries and palate is fruity without being sweet.
