Community Tasting Notes 10

June 2, 2015 - What a pretty wine. Honeysuckle, honey, peach, touch of almond butterscotch. Drink now. Very little structure/acid left but if you have some enjoy with delicate white fish or young cheese.

  • Caxand Does not like this wine: 68 points

March 1, 2014 - No aromas, no fruit, no acid, totally expressionless. Bought a case of 6 together with a friend - what a waste of money. Clearly demonstrates that 2003 white Bordeaux's do not stand the time.

February 13, 2013 - A business dinner (Restaurant Lakes *, Hilversum, Netherlands): Very ripe, apricot, almost Viognier-like, slightly honeyed, soft acidity but not flabby, rounded but with a nice hint of minerality, nice length.

August 12, 2012 - Nice yellow color. Not much to the nose. I recognise melon. Taste dissapointing thin, but good notes of oak. But first of all: I need acid to make the wine fresh and appealing. Drink now!
