January 23, 2023 - An utterly seamless and delightful wine. Aromas of red cherry and notions of violets, herb and spice. The palate shines with pure sappy fruit and a satin-like mouthfeel. Nothing out of place. Not flashy but sneakily layered and overtly complete.

November 27, 2021 - This was a funky bottle, with a lot of residu. It reminded more of a barbaresco than a bourgogne. Good, but not as excellent as the previous bottle. Probably bottle variation because of the filling of the bottle (there was A LOT of residu).

April 16, 2021 - Very lovely. The wine is spicy yet soft and backward. Modest signature of the vigneron, the grape speaks. Easy to dismiss, because the wine does not jump out of the glass. It rewards concentration and focus with cool fruit, small berries, impeccable balance, depth. I'll buy more.

April 1, 2018 - As compared with my note of 2016, this is now distinctly more evolved, to the point where I detect a touch of astringency- is it losing its fruit already or is this just a slightly sub-par bottle? Last bottle, so I'll have to remain in suspense, but overall, still a great wine for the price.

March 28, 2016 - Very deep garnet colour, little evidence of age on the rim. The nose is relatively closed, with not much evolution between Day 1 and Day 2 after a night in the fridge in a smaller bottle to prevent oxidisation. On the palate, this is still quite closed but shows great promise, the fruit being rich even if it lacks great complexity. Very good now, but this could easily wait another five years and should evolve further. For now, 88.
