May 5, 2012 - Big bold nose of red fruit and some heat. Very modern in style. More like a CA pinot. Very bright with decent complexity. Medium finish with a touch of alcohol. 93pts

November 9, 2009 - Silky tannins but still primary. Oak somewhat obscures fairly dense fruit with potpourri and Asian spices. Needs time.

November 8, 2009 - tasted blind and I could not guess burg and certainly not 2003. lots of acid for an 03 and not near the fruit. still a gourgeous wine

May 24, 2008 - had next to Potel and Jadot Bonnes Mares and the was third in that line up. Lots of detectable wood compared to the others

May 23, 2008 - Nice but far outshined by the Jadot and Potel of the same vintage and vineyard. Too much wood on this wine that later integrated with lots of time in the glass.
