May 16, 2020 - Again this wine opened beautifully with a fine and fresh light green-yellow colour and an initially strict nose of green apple, white pear, lemon with touches of nutmeg and flowers. The palate is intense with green apple, lemon, pineapple and honey leading to a fine finish of limestone and flint . That touch of spice on the nose becomes evident on the palate as the wine opens out and the pineapple adds an exotic touch. There is real grip and drive here that defines this wine as a classic CC that has stood the test of time.

October 9, 2019 - Still very good - a bit evolved but good acidity balance
December 29, 2018 - Very earthy and buttery nose with almost no fruits. Smells of mushroom. Light on the palate.
November 18, 2018 - Wine Tasting Group - Burgundy - Nov. 18, 2018 (Classic Wine Storage, Dallas, TX): Aromas of creamed corn, butter popcorn, apples with some mild reduction. Palate with more apples, butter, minerals, mild honeysuckle on the finish with some bitter pith that adds a nice element. Very nice acids keep the wine lively. Complex with layers of flavor. Broad yet concentrated mouthfeel. David and Clare have had this several times and has shown better without the reduction. Still pretty darn tasty.
November 3, 2018 - This wine opened beautifully with a fine light green-yellow colour and a lovely nose of green apple, white pear, lemon and pineapple. The palate is very intense with green apple, lemon, straw and honey leading to a fine finish of limestone and flint . There is lovely balance and nice drive to this wine which is both mature and pristine at 17 years.

Nydelig mineralitet.
Ganske "nedpå" vin som krever litt oppmerksomhet.
Først på smak at Grand Cru følelsen stiger frem.
Balansert og drikker veldig bra nå.
Ikke mye modningstoner, men smooth og sømløs.
