July 2, 2011 - Very pale pastel orange and pink in color. Subtle in flavor even for a rose. Cherry and strawberry in a creamy texture. Just the right touch of acidity. I prefer a rose with a little more umph but this is very well done.

April 2, 2011 - Blind Pinot Noir from Around The World (dbp's crib - Portland, OR): The nose here is very light, with some barnyard showing along with wheat bread and strawberry scents. It's kind of empty on contact, and then some strawberry and cherry flavors appear on the mid palate. The acidity is slow to set in, and it shows nicely on the end, but the flavors are a bit weak for me.

April 2, 2011 - Pinot Noirs from Around The World (BLIND!): Really light color, almost like you died water with some salmon. Funky aromas, almost like oaky notes, but not sure if this sees any. Someone said it smelled "farty." Lots of displeasure on the aromas from the group. The palate takes a different turn which is very pleasing. Quite crisp and light, but it has a luscious mouthfeel, with cutting acid building. It's almost buttery in its texture. The finish is tons of crisp acid that carries deep into the finish, without any of the funky aromas noted on the nose. Very pleasing in the end.

September 22, 2010 - Very light pink/copper color, almost watery in appearance. But the nose betrays much more stuffing in the glass, with a lovely strawberry and cherry fruit profile laced with flowers. In the mouth, light and expressive, with great elegance as it dances across the palate. Crisp and inviting, with slightly tart strawberry and cherry fruit. The acidity is bright. Solid finish. Just a really pleasant wine all around. A-

July 3, 2010 - Rose of the year for me so far. This has everything that I look forward in a rose - very refreshing, light. Great on its own and perfect with food. Palest of pink colors. Watermelon, rose hips and some grapefruit. Decent complexity and great freshness. Perfect for $14.
