December 24, 2022 - Used to be a fresh, juicy and elegant wine as young. Now the last bottle over Christmas dinner: style is still recognizeable but fruit turns to more plum and ripe cherries with not enough structure or other aspects to bring real excitement. Still enjoyable and interesting but would only hold more to see the late life of terroir potentially showing more behind faded berries maybe in 5-10 years time

January 17, 2012 - Fantastic young burg. Very transparent yet full light crimson color. Beautiful and expressive nose of flowers, berries and some exotic spices. Very sappy, but refined palate. Strawberries in spades, grapefruit, licorice and some charcoal (?). Tangy acidity leads a very long finish, but there is a very good balance of the fruit and acid in place, that makes this very pleasurable today. This is fun to drink and the glass gets drained much faster than expected. I love the elegance and refinement here. This really hits a sweet spot for me and at the price purchased makes for a great bargain.
