September 3, 2022 - 8/10 - Drinking quite well now. Sweet and juicy. Not too complex but a pleasurable drink nonetheless.

July 6, 2022 - Not the most complicated, but a very nice afternoon wine. Very pure and intense flavors of lemon cream with a blackberry note in the background. Full bodied, with adequate acid. The finish is impressive. These can go longer, I think.

January 21, 2022 - Quite similar to my previous note, but some added petrol and more volatility to the jasmine. The fruit has gained richness and depth and the residual sugar shows a bit more, though never cloying or obtrusive. This has become very creamy and unctuous, but with great energy shooting through it. Will certainly hold for a while yet, but was too delicious to resist.

January 1, 2021 - Still youthful, but moving into a good place. This was especially nice with a roast chicken today. The nose had a nice sunny ripeness to it, with sweet aromas of peach and nectarine, honey and white flowers, and then just that little twist of minerality. The palate still had a certain juvenile sweetness to it, with some puppy fat showing in its plump notes of peach and nectarine, again drizzled with a good bit of honey and nectar, and then a sweet chew of pineapple, all this couched in a full, creamy mouthfeel. In spite of its round fleshiness though, there was a nice spine of mineral and acidity that always kept the wine nicely controlled and balanced. A very drinkable Spatlese even now, but with its best years ahead of it yet. This will be a lovely in 3-4 years or so.

May 16, 2020 - This was very nicely balanced, with ample round, but by no means screechy or dominant acidity, and sweetness that was present and apparent, but not cloying or too much in the foreground. crisp and clean, with orchard fruits and only the faintest hint of petrol. A delicious wine that was round and pleasant, beguiling you to pay attention to it rather than demanding it of the taster. 92-93ish
