April 24, 2015 - Dark ruby, more red than blue but not yet any hint of browning edges. Spicy nose dominated by game and leathery notes. A hint of plum for fruit. Silky smooth mouthfeel with acidity and flavours in balance. Long finish. Needs decanting to remove sediment and thirty minutes to open up.
