Community Tasting Notes 2

June 26, 2010 - Live Wine Blogging, Reds (Wine Blogger's Conference, Walla Walla, Washington): Deep blackberry and raspberry on the nose with some faint vanilla. Cool burst of fruit on the mid palate with full blueberries mixing in with the dominant dark raspberries. BLAMMO fruit!! Lighter acid and tannins, but the tannins build on the finish to provide a bit of structure and dry sensation. Pleasant, easy drinking, I think this would be a huge win for people new to wine. Good QPR

June 26, 2010 - From the 3L box: blue and black fruit nose, just very fruity. On the palate this has good flavor, maybe a little bit of plastic bag, pretty basic with lower acidity and some late hitting tannins. Not a bad wine at the price point.
