January 1, 2024 - 2024 New Year's Day Double Blind Tasting: Double-blind. Touch of funk on the nose, black cherry, prickly tannin. Slight reduction making it a touch sappy and fatter than the first Burgundy we had. This can age for many more years.

December 3, 2023 - Deep, dark, black cherry, earth, smoke, spice, and a hint of game. Tannins are largely resolved. Overall perhaps a bit too muscular and slightly too ripe for me. This was very closed when opened, and much improved after 3 hours in the decanter, and even the next day as well. Overall I think this would benefit from another ~5 years in the bottle.

November 1, 2023 - Top 5 wines of my life. Oppulent, a touch of sweetness, round, ample, long. Simply wow. After a very dissapointing 99 Musigny, this was simply God sent. Spectacular.

May 26, 2023 - During a Paulee dinner, so only brief impressions. Young, good structure and aromas, still some oak to integrate.

October 17, 2022 - Tasting: A second time with the 2009 Bonnes Mares, I also had this wine 2018.
This time a lot more open and on the fuller side, with lots of strawberries. A very good Bourgogne, but maybe it lacked a little bit of elegance - also a bit too easy to like. Liked the 2009 Musigny more.
    Seems ready to drink.
