  July 27, 2013 - Clean and jammy, with the fruit complemented by subtle notes of herbs and mint. The chewy tannins suggest to me that this could even last a few more years.

  August 2, 2012 - Great stuff and about as good as it gets for Dolcetto. Nicely rustic with good fruit, earth and acidity. Great match with food. Vajra wines rock.

  October 20, 2011 - Interesting that the scores for this wine seem to be all over the place. I found it simple but quite enjoyable. Solidly "good" (84 pts). I don't recall ever having a Dolcetto d'Alba which was very complex so I think this is typical of my experience. Good acid and a focused red fruit flavor lend well to food. As with most Italian wines, in my experience, this was made to accent food rather than impress alone.
