June 29, 2019 - Well, procrastination after the last bottle was terrible 4 years ago paid off. Tannin's have softened and the wine gained a bit of elegance. Not very long but has some pleasurable moments. An actual drinkable bottle with some interesting notes.

November 24, 2017 - Kept at 55ºF & 65% humidity. Dark color with slight bricking at the edges. Nose was a little austere. Mid palate was medium-full bodied and expressive of black fruit. Medium-long finish with some drying tannins.

March 13, 2015 - Drink Up. On the decline, fruit drying up and tannins overtake the mouth. Sinewy on the finish. Too late and still a bottle left.

Sure it has good dense black fruits, some nice meat and soil earthiness but there is an overt Cognac cask oak thing going on. I just found this character too obtrusive and would be interested if anyone else had tried this wine from bottle.
