Community Tasting Notes 6

August 12, 2013 - Candied lemon and peaches on the intense nose with honey, sage and brioche.
Very dry and crisp on the powerful medium bodied palate. Just a tad oily touch and good concentration of ripe fruit.
Brioche, herbs and lemon rind. A touch bitter in the minerally aftertaste.
2nd day note. Truly a fine effort for the pricepoint. Good intensity and loads of character.

February 10, 2011 - Delicious stuff. Dry but still with a good deal of peachy fruit. Beautiful white floral component as well. Great zip and stoney finish. Can pound this stuff.

December 30, 2010 - Fresh green apples and high but pleasant acidity. A good Rheingau riesling at an affordable price.

October 4, 2010 - Intense nose of ripe fruit (citrus, tropical), meadow flowers and apple pie.
Dry with balanced grainy acidity, olive oil, florals, fresh herbs, sage. Good length.
The entry-level Riesling is also truly good and well in line with the producer's style.

October 3, 2010 - Retailer tasting (@ KE): Good concentration and a lot of citrus acidity. Also tropical and just a little sweet impressions from the fruit. Pure and fresh with a medium long finish.
