May 21, 2017 - Utterly delicious on day 2. Requires a long decant.

June 17, 2016 - So much for thinking this would improve with age. Despite the hype and reviews, this is one disappointing bottle of wine.

January 29, 2015 - Drank this at Le Charsseur tonight with a group of wine enthusiasts.

Dark purple in colour with familiar Bordeaux notes on the nose. The palate is lush with the fruits concentrated and focused on the mid-palate with an outstanding acidity in the finish. Some green notes upon opening followed by leather and oak flavours.

Drinking well now after 15 to 30 minutes of breathing. Enjoyable with red meat dishes.

January 29, 2015 - Dark garnet with brick red rims showing further development from my last tasting.
It has a nice elegant nose full of tobacco, earthy notes with blackcurrant and fresh herbs undertones. Palate is smooth, supple and elegant, showing tobacco, red fruits, cherry, blackcurrant and leather. Fresh acidity and very good seamless mid-palate lead to a long lingering finish. Drinking well now.
Brought this bottle to a blind tasting session and other tasters thought this was from Bordeaux. Definitely an interesting ringer with its secondary characters.
