August 25, 2022 - Surprisingly still drinking fine. Pronounced nose of tea, spices, charr wood, toast. Medium acidity and medium- tannin. Drank it side by side 1960, 4 out of 7 prefer 1960, even though personally I prefer 1962 as theres slightly higher acidity.

June 3, 2019 - This was tired. Probably at least a decade past its prime and a little stewed. It did open up a little with time and was obviously Mouton still.

February 3, 2013 - I’ve wanted to taste the wine for years, especially after the stunning bottle of 1962 Latour tasted last year. How would it measure up, against that giant? It was close, but… Light in color, the nose delivered cigar box, sweet jammy berries, spice, forest floor and cherry notes. Medium/full bodied, the fruit, while exotic in texture was starting to fade. Still, it was quite nice for a 51 year old wine. That being said, I would not hold it any longer.
