May 19, 2016 - Cork soaked through. Nose opens a bit muted, musty with some sweet and sour cherry poking through. There is a hint of rustic barnyard as well. The palate is remarkably sweet on entry, with grippy tannins. Finished a touch simple. Better two years ago?

November 15, 2015 - This is a tricky wine. Need to let it breathes for at least 30 mins to disperse its redundant flavours. To be honest I did not really get the essence of this and I suspected there is a slightly cork effects in the wine. Overall this is a ripe wine start with lots of prune in the first 1 hour, and followed by red fruits and baked spices notes such as nutmeg, parsley and rosemary. The wine is full of deposits but I suspect it has already passed its peak. The tannin is there but cannot say it is silky or firm. The flavour changes dramatically during the 3 hours serving from a decanter. Can say this is at Very good quality but bit disappointing due to high expectation. May need another try to get unbiased justification *(87-88)
