February 8, 2013 - Very interesting bottle. Opened on the 7th and exhibited a strong floral note of English summer garden and wet stone. On the palate it was all purple fruit, a strong savoury component of herbs de Provence to back things up.
By the second day things were really beginning to get get exciting. A strong liquor character to entered the profile and all the merits of the first day were still in evidence.
Shortly after it had all blown off. Perhaps because I'd disturbed the wine, the volatile components left and all that remained was the bitterness of a poorly put together table wine.
What was to be had was interesting, but surely the fact that you have to watch the progress of this wine so carefully lest it die on you surely mars its desirability.
My recommendation. Decant for half a day, finish within 1 hour of the first glass.

June 23, 2012 - Very dark brick color. Palate is dried cherries, tobacco and roasted soil. Nose is dried fruit and more roasted soil. Not a lot of PV character. Remindsmme more of what would happen if you grew PV in Cote Rotie.

July 16, 2011 - Dried cherry, date, raisin, menthol and spice. Something about this wine reminds me of gingerbread. Very tannic, at the same time accesible.

July 17, 2010 - Çekici koyu vişne rengi mor röfleler içeriyor. Burnu; karanfil ve tarçın, çikolata ve tütünden zengin. Bunları nane ve okaliptüs izliyor. Damakta güçlü, tanen, asit ve meyve dengesi yerinde, uzun bitişi mineral ve baharat izlenimi bırakıyor.
Madrid'in güneybatısındaki Mentrida apelasyonundan gelen bu %100 Petit Verdot şarabı 12 ay 225 litrelik Fransız fıçılarda, 12 ay da şişede olgunlaştıktan sonra piyasaya sürülmüş.
Dünyanın önde gelen Petit Verdot ve Petit Verdot ağırlıklı kupajlarının yer aldığı bu kör tadımda,Sayın Aslı Odman,Sayın Can Ortabaş, Sayın Vedat Milor ve Şarap Tutkunları grubunun üyeleri hazır bulundular.
