October 19, 2015 - Good wine, and very interesting. Has the tannic grip of a VP, the chocolate-covered raisin profile of an LBV, and the animal funk of southern France. Simple, not too sweet, nice finish, and unlike any wine I've ever tried. Win.

April 26, 2014 - Intense, some tannic bite, a bit earthy, but not too sweet, heavy, 'porty' or alcoholic. Quite a lot of interest there, glad I picked this up on closeout.
