September 19, 2016 - Spicy and berry-fruity on nose. In contrast to previous bottles we drank some time ago (years) no stinky notes, luck or evolution? Although very ripe smelling, no sign of oxidation or maderization. On the palate quite deep, again lots of blueberries, blackberries and red cherries topped by earthy, smoky and (clove) spicy flavors. Much better and more harmonious than I had in mind. Round (restrained) tannins and well-structured acidity to carry it to the medium and always fruity finish.

February 3, 2015 - A bit of rotten egg on the nose which lessened to insignificance over time, but on the palate a feral, dusty, chalky garnacha with an evocative sense of place. Swear I heard Sancho Panza's mule pacing along the dirt as I sipped this one.
