June 26, 2013 - Pretty generic Spanish red. Nice dark fruit with herbaceous notes and medium body. Thinning a bit on the finish but otherwise it's held up decently over time. The problem is there are comparable reds from this area for $5 less.

February 10, 2012 - What I noticed first about this wine, at Grocery Outlet, was the nice Pine cases...I thought this might be a high end wine, hoping, hoping... Well it's not, but it is a solid effort in the economy relm of tempranillo. Fresh, cherry fruit, nice balance of acid and light tannin, wonderful party wine. This works w/BBQ, or roasted chicken, tacos, heck just about anything.

Popped, and right away, a synthetic cork...not a fan, but the wine tastes good...clean and light, at least a corked bottle won't ever be an issue. Aromas, not much here, some faint cherry, but nothing much to speak of, and nothing expected at this price point. ($5.99 at GO, $10-$12 retail)

One of the many things I like about this wine,is the Smart Bottle, which tells you to drink between 62 & 64 degrees, and like the Coors light can, this bottle will indicate if the wine is in the recommended temperature zone, blue around the upper right front of the label. Thankfully, :), drank this within the recommended temperature...very nice, clean, flavorful and simple wine...one that just about anyone will enjoy. Well worth trying, great for an every day kind of wine. Wish CA., OR or WA. would produce something like this.

November 25, 2011 - First bottle was pretty good, second had some residual carbonation, a little off.

Dislike it that heat on the palate. Passè

Color cardenalicio para un Tempranillo interesante pero rústico, alcohólico.
En tu nariz fresas todo el rato; algo de palote también.
No me gusta ese calor en boca. Para pasar.
