June 22, 2020 - Last bottle drunk 8 years ago. Dark, inky purple. Fine tannins, fruit forward, long finish. Really enjoyable wine.

June 2, 2020 - FRUIT BOMB! Beautiful intensely dark/opaque color. First impression is incredible fruit and sweetness unexpected for this cellar aged wine with 16+% alcohol- almost port-like! Dark fruits dance on the palette forever. Tannins are gone- no decant needed at this point. Glad I cellared this for a while - not disappointed with grilled lamb chops. In no way seems over the hill yet. Wish I had more.
