December 24, 2022 - Black cherry and spice nose; dark fruit and integrated tannins on the palate; nice finish. Good acidity made for a nice pairing with cheese manicotti.

July 7, 2020 - Dried fruit, prune, plum, spice, leather. Tannins holding strong and keeping it together.
Paired well with rice pasta lasagna.
Very well balanced and drinking well for aged chianti. Slight acid to finish. -

December 9, 2018 - Distinctive black cherry nose with an attractive touch of earthy brett. Moderately rich mouth, good dose of fruit in the relatively low acid finish. Gained a reasonable amount of weight as it aired.
