Ruby color. Showcases flinty, slightly smokey aromas with violet, black pepper, dried cranberry, dried herb and very slight cedar notes. The mid-palate is characterized by sweet, briary cherry and blackberry flavor, with baked berries, coffee, tobacco and suggestions of cocoa powder and black pepper. Chewy tannins with rich black cherry/blueberry flavors are discernable in the slight spicy, toasty coffee and cedar finish.
