  January 16, 2012 - Bv Score: 93 - Extremely drinkable and food-friendly. A nice bright, dry wine, with just a bit more sweetness than your average Chianto Classico. You can drink this right after you pull the cork, but decanting for a bit will definitely add to the experience. With Chicken Cacciatore, a great match.

  December 19, 2011 - Weekly tasting group #014; Sangiovese (@ RvG): Light red. Pleasant bouquet with some vanilla, autumn forest, rose hips, parsley, tea and a touch of barnyard. On the palate bitter cherries, drying and sticky tannin, Italian acidity and a short finish. The bouquet offers a greater promise than the wine gives in the mouth.
  Maybe it should age a few years.

  September 11, 2011 - With spagetti, italian sausage, and fresh tomato based sauce.
  Nice medium depth ruby.
  Fresh, if somewhat indistinct nose.
  Dry, fruity, maybe a touch of sweet in the middle, and a nice finish.
  Didn't need decanting - a wine to open and enjoy, but a bit more body than some.
