October 15, 2011 - Very smooth and refined velvet texture with NZ acid balance and proportion. Cedar, plummy, fragrant, lifted, plush. Lightyears removed from late 80's cabernets from NZ. Very modern wine.

August 3, 2010 - A very nice wine. Drinkable today. Dominated by the Merlot in the blend. Subtle spice from the nose through the palate to the aftertaste. Some wood (and tobacco?) on the nose that gives way to some dark fruit on the palate.
