  December 31, 2023 - Very good. Nose wafts sappy pineapple syrup, mango sticky rice, apple pie, and lime zest. Full bodied with a great balance between near-Auslese sweetness and juicy acid with tension that builds over time, this is a full throttle wine that went well with dan dan noodles. Flavors include minerality-led tropical fruits, spiced sweet vanilla baked goods, and citrus zest. It’s started to develop some Marcona almond on the finish. My only complaint is the finish is a bit short. This will continue to evolve for another 5-10 years.

  December 11, 2022 - Very complex. still very sweet. Full of petrol on the nose but no petrol at all on the palate. Explosive honey and tree fruit and lemony acidity on the palate. Could hold for another five years.

  November 3, 2019 - No notes made but this was a good bottle of Spätlese, though much sweeter than I had expected. Rich style and warm vintage. Great fruit and good acidity. Worked the best of 4 wines with spicy cheviche.

  December 31, 2016 - Fantastic spätlese, rich, fruity, loads of tropical fruits, with marvelous acidity, almost feels like a sparkling wine. Lovely!
