November 25, 2022 - Medium gold. On the nose medium intensity aromas of petrol, meyer lemon, tangerine, honey, blossom. On the palate the wine is medium dry, high acid, medium body with medium plus flavor intensity of meyer lemon, tangerine, dried peach, honey, blossom. The finish is medium plus with lingering tangerine honey and nuts. This is an outstanding wine, still showing alot of fresh fruit along w/some tertiary notes of petrol, honey and dried fruits. This wine can easily go another 10 yrs- thank goodness I have more.

April 30, 2018 - Classic Mosel kabinett Riesling, light and lithe, misses out on the mineral cut and drive from the greater sites like WS and GH. Fine accompaniment to a meal and drinking well now.

October 11, 2017 - Clear, pale, lemon in appearance. The nose is clean with pronounced intensity. The palate is med dry, with high acidity, low alcohol, med(+) body, pronounced intensity and a long finish. Notes of apple, peach, mango, wet stone, flint, petrol, honey and marmalade.

Outstanding wine with points for balance, length, intensity, and complexity. Drinking well now but has the acidity, sugar and structure to easily age another 15-20 years.

June 7, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour and showing some petillance and tartaric deposit. The nose is clean and developing, showing some initial notes of reduction and medium+ intensity aromas of petrol, lime, lemon peel and green apple. The wine is medium-sweet with a high zesty acidity. It has a low alcohol, medium body and pronounced intensity flavours of lime, lemon peel, green apple and hints of petrol. The finish is medium+.

It is a very good quality wine with a great fruit concentration and a very nice finish. It shows typicity too, but it could be more complex. Can drink now, but it has enough acidity and fruit concentration to develop more complex aromas in the next 10+ years.
