June 16, 2011 - Day 1 in Woodinville (Woodinville, WA): Dark color with herbs, dark fruit, cassis, leather and tobacco on the nose. Palate was dense and complex with nice dark fruit, herbs, spices, and toast. Will need a number of years for the heat on the finish to mellow out.
