September 8, 2016 - OMG So, I don't drink a lot of Barolo but due to the passage of many years I've had a bunch and liked many but never profoundly. Maybe it's the steak--I haven't had one since climbing Katahdin, maybe it's the rain we need so badly, maybe it's the 14% but this is one tasty sucker. Crystal clear, garnet, all manner of spices, graphite and vanilla. Big mouthfeel spice, fruit and big but gentle tannins. Long "I want more " finish. Just lovely!
