October 17, 2013 - Last of the wedding wine. Luckily lasted pretty well but glad we didn't wait any longer. As for the wine - a good, medium body Rioja. Plenty of ripe fruit and toasty vanilla. No surprises but sometimes life is better that way.

August 5, 2011 - Strong vanilla oak scent; acidic, bright entry with redcurrant/sharp morello fruit. Light bodied, feels more like 12% alc than the 14% stated on the label - a good thing. Traditional style, a successful inexpensive light Crianza from a vintage I had previously avoided. Drink with food. 87P
