  December 21, 2012 - Clear garnet color with a pretty nose of cranberry and a hint of mushroom. The palate was taught but silky and light, showing mostly cranberry, a little spice and plenty of acidity. I noticed a touch of chocolate on the palate which I assume was oak, which was a little surprising to me as its not something I've encountered in a Burgundy before. Decent but not exciting finish. On its own this wine was more than drinkable but with food it came alive and really felt like a good QPR. Pretty backward still for a 2007 Bourgogne, definitely has the stuffing to keep evolving for a few years yet.

  September 4, 2012 - Drank at Buddakan in AC. Light cherry colored. Aromas of sour cherries, fresh herbs and broth. The palate is really tangy and light, dominated by cranberry and some pepper. A lighter style, quite restrained for a 2007.
