December 31, 2016 - Opened at 6:30 for New Year's Eve. Still opaque purple color. Loads of ripe fruit and spice in the nose. Rich and big in the mouth, but quite balanced. The tannins do show through the ripe fruit on the finish. Amy likes it.

October 27, 2016 - Not as good the '07. Not a enough structure to hold it for this long and it still tastes a little 'green'.

April 30, 2016 - Great color and smell. Weak flavors. Very light fruit and taste which was surprising for what look and smelled like a big wine.
