Drank right in its prime spot in my opinion, and went great with the food (which I find to be a hallmark for many Italian wines). June 23, 2007 - Definitely ready for drinking now - remarkable texture - rich and velvety with the hard tannin of youth having all fallen away. Luscious brambly fruit and obvious but well integrated oak structure. Long and delicious.
