  December 12, 2022 - Bright, dark garnet color, saturated to the rim. Sharp red cherry nose with a hint of taffy. Lush red fruit, noticeable tannins, chewy even after 24 hrs. A pleasurable drinker that still has years of life, but is ready now.

  April 24, 2021 - Decanted for 20 minutes with some fine sediment, but better after 40 minutes in the decanter. A clear medium purple. Nice bright red fruits, some earth and some vanilla on the nose. These carry over nicely to the medium bodied palate, along with some darker red fruits and some spice. The acidity is very bright and there is just a touch of tannin on the finish. A bit surprised at this wine's longevity, and the fact that it can hold for several more years.
