August 12, 2013 - Ran through the vinturi into a decanter for an hour or so, nice dark fruit aromas, along with casis and light leather. Full bodied, with dark berries and chocolate notes, balanced and refined, improved as the night went on. Most likely at peak drinking, impressive.

April 26, 2008 - Medium garnet color and relatively muted nose. Medium body of red fruit and restrained oak. At first it seemed la little hot but it came together after about two hours of air. Still seems a little thin on the tannins..
