August 2, 2007 - Slight decline since last bottle, but still very nice. Very floral, ripe, just a hint of raisin, but not in a bad way. Get a pretty rose oil component and still shows a bit of that creamy vanilla that I saw drinking earlier. Very nice, but I would drink 'em while you got 'em.

Crême de cerise almost. Very extracted, but suprising amount of Grenache character in aromatics. Really a tasting wine as more than a glass was too much. Not my style but very well done. The remainder ended up in the still and produced a very aromatic and tasty thimble of spirits.

I claimed cinnamon up front, but Ann claimed allspice, and proved it by opening up the spice drawer. Also some rich chocolate notes. Nice thick body, peppery, lingering finish. Good stuff. One bottle left, and wish we could get more.
