October 8, 2007 - Carmalized/ozidized...cork in perfect shape. concentrated...fruit a bit worn. Probably was much better a few years ago.

August 2, 2007 - Slight decline since last bottle, but still very nice. Very floral, ripe, just a hint of raisin, but not in a bad way. Get a pretty rose oil component and still shows a bit of that creamy vanilla that I saw drinking earlier. Very nice, but I would drink 'em while you got 'em.

June 15, 2005 - Last bottle. Stand by previous tasting notes, but also note that it was good to drink this now -- slight decline I think since the last bottle, but still very tasty.

May 29, 2005 - A Sunday evening cookout to celebrate Heather moving to Columbus (Columbus, OH): Big nose of roasted fruit and boiling candy syrup. Major upfront sweetness and a syrup-like mouthfeel. Crême de cerise almost. Very extracted, but suprising amount of Grenache character in aromatics. Really a tasting wine as more than a glass was too much. Not my style but very well done. The remainder ended up in the still and produced a very aromatic and tasty thimble of spirits.

January 7, 2005 - I liked this the last time we had it, but tonight I loved it. (Ann loved it last time and loved it tonight.) I claimed cinnamon up front, but Ann claimed allspice, and proved it by opening up the spice drawer. Also some rich chocolate notes. Nice thick body, peppery, lingering finish. Good stuff. One bottle left, and wish we could get more.
