June 1, 2004 - clear with a brown tinged garnet colour; smoky sour cherry nose with noticable oak; lean entry that gains body in the mouth; good acid, lower tannin than expected; cocoa and dried cherries on the palate; medium-long finish; old world rioja despite the oak and overall quite good.
