February 27, 2010 - The 2010 Newport Seafood and Wine festival (Newport, OR): A nice black fruit nose on this one showing some depth. On the palate this is nice early with it's fruit, some cherry pie possibly, but then goes a little tart on the finish. Nice palate overall here though with decent length in the finish. Some heat detectable on the finish, not very balanced on the finish. A nice wine for sure if a little basic.

May 23, 2009 - Memorial Day Weekend Wine Tour (Eola-Amity Hills): The nose is light with hints of spice along with the fruit. On the palate the fruit is soft and dark with a nice structure and a hint of sweetness.
