April 21, 2024 - Cellared at 52F from release.
Massive wine, profound, dense and slow to reveal itself. Subtle power. Inky black and blue core. Beguiling, unmistakable, Southern Rhone warmth & softness in the nose with blackberry, thyme, & underbrush. Massive grip, deftly balanced against powerful blackberry fruit & proper acidity.
Could easily pass for normal cuvee of CdP in a blind. Recommend 1 hour decant, minimum. Remarkable value for the price. This will -easily- age another 10 years in proper cellar. -

July 27, 2023 - Blown away by this as it was stored in pretty iffy conditions for years (a relative's closet). Salted plums with some ocean air minerality. This is still going strong!
